Volunteer
Service for a greater goal
AMCP is an entirely volunteer-ran organization. We rely on every volunteer's selfless contribution of time and effort to fulfill our missions.
Volunteer roles:
Volunteers are needed to serve in our free clinic (MCHC), event hosting, and committee staff. After training, volunteers are able to choose their service area.
Volunteers are asked to commit at least 100 hours towards service in a single service area.
Becoming a volunteer:
We recruit volunteers year-round on a rolling basis. To become a volunteer, please email volunteer@amcpmn.org with an attached resume and response to questions:

2. What is one group of people that is frequently overlooked in medicine and/or society?
Volunteer privileges:
Volunteers are recognized at annual AMCP festivals and galas for their commitments.
​
AMCP awards are given to volunteer(s) with significant contributions. Volunteer hours are valid for national volunteer service awards such as the National Service Honor.
​
Above all, we hope volunteers are left with lasting impressions of professional development and patient care, especially for the most vulnerable and neglected populations.
